The North Atlanta Venture Mentoring Service (NAV) is principled and trained by MIT Venture Mentoring Service and is the first of its kind in Georgia. NAV, a pilot program led by the Cherokee Office of Economic Development, is accepting applications for ventures with a working concept and beyond who want to take their business to the next level through team-based mentorship.
The Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED) announced the launch of the North Atlanta Venture Mentoring Service (NAV) today at The Circuit Woodstock to an engaged audience of Cherokee locals and community leaders. Headquartered in Cherokee, NAV represents Georgia’s first entrepreneur mentorship program principled and trained by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) Venture Mentoring Service (VMS).

Led by our Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED), NAV is the first of its kind in the state of Georgia. The program was made possible through the Cherokee By Choice initiative – a five-year results-driven public/private partnership aimed at reinforcing Cherokee’s role as a leader in economic development.
Fresh Start Cherokee is the entrepreneurship initiative of COED.
