The North Atlanta Venture Mentoring Service (NAV), principled and trained by MIT Venture Mentoring Service and is the first of its kind in Georgia. The NAV program, led by the Cherokee Office of Economic Development, is accepting applications for ventures with a working concept and beyond who want to take their business to the next level through team-based mentorship.
Ventures
NAV welcomes coachable North Atlanta-based entrepreneurs with a working concept and beyond who are looking for guidance through team-based mentorship.
Mentors
NAV mentors are volunteer experts in any field or industry who are recommended to the program and wish to give back to the next generation of North Atlanta entrepreneurs.
MIT Model
The MIT VMS Model is tried and true with 21 years of operation in 23 different countries. NAV is proud to be the 90th chapter out of 100 principled and trained by MIT VMS.
Led by the Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED), NAV is the first of its kind in the state of Georgia. The program was made possible through the Cherokee By Choice initiative – a five-year results-driven public/private partnership aimed at reinforcing Cherokee’s role as a leader in economic development.
NAV is a program of Fresh Start Cherokee, the entrepreneurship initiative of COED.
“One of the greatest values of mentors is the ability to see ahead what others cannot see and to help them navigate a course to their destination.”
