Ian Gloer

Ian Gloer is the COO of Homegrown, a finance company helping brick-and-mortar entrepreneurs expand through a unique revenue share model. His work centers on enabling local businesses to scale sustainably, turning great operators into multi-location owners without the traditional burden of debt or dilution.

Before joining Homegrown, Ian founded ZING Funding, a national business capital brokerage that connected small and medium-sized businesses with the right financing partners. Over five years, he led ZING to provide more than $100 million in working capital to over 1,000 businesses, building a reputation for creative problem solving and owner-first financing solutions.

Earlier in his career, Ian held several roles at IOU Financial, a commercial lender now owned by Neuberger Berman. Across more than a decade in commercial finance, he has worked with thousands of business owners, helping them navigate challenges, unlock growth, and think strategically about capital as a tool rather than a constraint.

Through these experiences, Ian has seen nearly every way a business can succeed, stumble, and adapt. He brings those lessons forward in his work with entrepreneurs, sharing practical insights about growth, resilience, and decision-making that come from seeing what works across many different industries and business models.
