Founder & CEO

Jim Poole is the Founder and CEO of JP Strategies, LLC, where he advises companies, investors, and leadership teams on business strategy, marketing, healthcare logistics, and supply chain innovation. He also advises private equity funds and executive search firms during pre-deal diligence and portfolio value creation across logistics, last-mile delivery, and healthcare supply chains. Prior to starting his advisory firm, Jim spent more than 30 years with UPS, including leadership roles within UPS Healthcare focused on strategy, customer experience, and growth initiatives across global markets.

Jim also serves as a Part-Time Professor of Marketing at Kennesaw State University, where he teaches “Marketing for Entrepreneurs” in the Coles College of Business. He enjoys working with students and early-stage entrepreneurs on practical business strategy, customer discovery, and growth planning.

Originally from San Antonio, Jim and his wife Kelly have lived in Cherokee County for many years, where they raised their son and daughter. Outside of work, Jim enjoys supporting his favorite sports teams – Texas Longhorns and San Antonio Spurs – and traveling with his family.
