He is a Managing Partner of Black Airplane, an agency based in Woodstock, Georgia focused on building enterprise-level custom software and applications. Previously, he was a member of the founding team at Python Safety which was successfully acquired by Capital Safety and subsequently by 3M.
Caldwell is the 31st Mayor of Woodstock, Georgia, and Managing Partner at Black Airplane, a full-stack digital product agency. Caldwell was previously the youngest state legislator in the United States and represented Woodstock for eight years in Georgia’s House of Representatives. He serves as a gubernatorial appointee on the Georgia Technology Authority and as a Commissioner on the Atlanta Regional Commission.
Michael and his wife Katie have three children, Oliver, Elizabeth, and Charlotte, and live in downtown Woodstock.
