After graduating from Texas A&I (now aka Texas A&M) University, Patrick Comeaux spent most of his career in the computer industry starting as Sales Executive with Burroughs/Unisys Corporation. After promotions thru numerous executive positions, he left the Corporate World to become CEO and co-owner of an upstart computer software company. The company grew into a multi-million-dollar company with its computer software marketed throughout the U.S. and in 14 countries. Throughout this part of his career, Mr. Comeaux was twice recognized in the top 100 Privately held U.S. companies, a participant in the U.S. Department of Commerce GOLD KEY program for Entrepreneurs, a top finalist as Michigan’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and recognized as one of the top 50 privately held companies in Michigan.
The Company was acquired in 1995 allowing him to move from Michigan to Woodstock, Ga. Although retiring, he remained active as a Board member of PDS International Sdn Bhd of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, found time to learn and play golf, remain a member of the Computer Resellers Advisory Panel and assist in helping new start-up computer companies and entrepreneurs.
Coming out of retirement in 1998, Comeaux decided to pursue a third career and became a Georgia Licensed Instructor for Appraisals and Real Estate. He remains as a Licensed Instructor, a Certified Residential/FHA Appraiser, a Ga Realtor license, and Real Estate Investments.
Locally, he has previously served as a Board Member of the Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED), his local Homeowners Association and the Residential Owners Association (ROA) of Towne Lake Hills in Woodstock.
