Tom started his career in sales with Baxter Healthcare. Most recently, Tom led the global vision as well as the business plan execution in North America for the Interventional Pain business with Avanos. He was responsible for achieving world class customer service and business efficiencies for their global commercial teams.
Tom had almost 30 years of experience in the medical device industry. He has extensive experience in driving global growth via new products, acquisitions, and sales resource deployment. After his time with Baxter Healthcare, Tom spent 14 years with CR Bard – 11 years leading the marketing department at Bard’s Davol division and then 3 years as the General Manager for Bard’s full portfolio in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Avanos, Tom was the Vice President of Venous Intervention at AngioDynamics. Tom had almost 30 years of experience in the medical device industry and is now retired.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Rhode Island. Tom is married and has a son and daughter.
